Night in Moose Bar in Tienen ends with broken eye socket: perpetrator receives community service
A 33-year-old man from Tienen received a 150-hour community service sentence for violence after a night out at Moose Bar, where he broke another man's eye socket during a fight. The incident occurred on February 23, 2024, following a heated discussion among patrons. Despite being in the presence of police, he struck the victim, resulting in serious injury. This was not his first offense, as he was also involved in another fight earlier that month. The man, who has a history of legal issues, claimed he does not seek conflict but reacts violently when provoked. Two other individuals involved in the fights received different sentences, including probation and suspended sentences.
