A new feature is coming to mObywatel. "We are building a support portal"
The Polish government is launching a support portal to streamline the process of endorsing candidates while enhancing security. Deputy Minister Dariusz Standerski announced that the new system will reduce the number of people who see personal data compared to paper forms. The relationship of support will be direct between voters and the National Electoral Commission. The system will guide users through the process, verifying their voting rights and electoral district. While digital signatures will be introduced, paper forms will still be accepted. The portal will be operational during the upcoming parliamentary campaign and will also assist in local elections and referendums. Currently, 13.5 million users utilize the mObywatel app, with 2 million daily logins.
