NATO will allow Ukraine to purchase weapons through its agency, FT reports

NATO will allow Ukraine to purchase weapons and military equipment through its centralized agency, facilitating quicker and cheaper access to defense resources. This move aims to provide Ukraine with a structured framework for procurement and access to expertise and industrial capabilities. The decision comes amid deteriorating US-Ukraine relations following a recent agreement between President Trump and Vladimir Putin regarding Russian oil exports. Ukraine has also raised concerns about intelligence sharing disruptions and limitations on the Starshield satellite system, although President Zelenskyy noted a consensus to address these issues during a recent meeting in Oslo.
