Scientists have recreated the image of the oldest Homo sapiens. His face looks familiar
A team led by Brazilian designer Cícero Moraes created a digital reconstruction of a 315,000-year-old Homo sapiens skull found in Morocco. This groundbreaking discovery pushes back the timeline of human history by 100,000 years. The reconstruction utilized advanced 3D modeling techniques, combining various fossil fragments to create a virtual model. The resulting face resembles modern humans but retains some archaic features. Moraes noted that while the colored version is more artistic, it includes less scientifically grounded details.
