The Climate Ministry announced a program aimed at enhancing energy independence for households by equipping photovoltaic installations with energy storage systems. The initiative has two main goals: improving the efficiency of renewable energy use and strengthening energy security. Financial support varies based on the energy settlement system, with up to 16,000 PLN for net-billing users and 8,000 PLN for net-metering users. An additional bonus of up to 2,000 PLN is available for purchasing energy storage systems made in the EU. The total funding can reach 19,000 PLN. The program has a budget of 1 billion PLN and applications can be submitted from October 20, 2026, to October 1, 2027.
