A Dutch man was stopped by customs in Bavaria, Germany, where authorities found 3 kg of the drug 4-cmc and traces of cocaine in his vehicle. Despite claiming ignorance about the contents of the bags, he admitted to occasional cocaine use. The Regensburg court sentenced him to two years and nine months in prison for drug trafficking and illegal importation. He has the option to appeal but remains in custody until then.
