Netherlands' largest hotel chain Fletcher Hotels falls into Indian hands

Fletcher Hotels, with 170 hotels and 5,800 employees, is set to be acquired by Sunday PropTech, enhancing its international presence. CEO Rob Hermans believes this partnership will facilitate expansion across Europe. Sunday PropTech, part of Prism Group and currently active in the US, UAE, and India, aims to enter the European market through this acquisition. Fletcher has experienced significant growth through over sixty acquisitions in the past decade. The deal is expected to finalize in November, pending approval from the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).
