Negotiations Russia – Ukraine. Peskov indicated the place and date

Russia has expressed readiness to resume peace talks following a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Steve Witkoff, a special envoy of Donald Trump. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also supported this initiative. The talks are scheduled for early November in Abu Dhabi, as stated by Peskov. This announcement follows intensified diplomatic efforts from the White House. Witkoff met with Zelensky and leaders from Norway and Finland in Oslo before meeting Putin in St. Petersburg. Both Ukraine and Russia have shown willingness to engage in direct talks with American mediation. Russia mentioned a date around November 10, while Kyiv prefers negotiations to occur as soon as possible. However, Putin warned that the goal of these negotiations would be a final agreement, not just a temporary ceasefire as suggested by Ukraine and its allies.
