The NVVH has stumbled upon some extraordinary safes at Miklós Seszták's home
The National Asset Recovery and Protection Office discovered vaults in the house of detained MP Miklós Seszták, typically used by financial institutions. This announcement aimed to clarify speculation following the court's information about his arrest. During a search in mid-October, investigators found empty vaults, which allegedly held 9 billion HUF in cash, later possibly relocated. Seszták's detention has been extended until the end of January. Questions regarding the 9 billion HUF were directed to the Capital Court, which referred them back to the NVVH, but no response has been received yet.
