The Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Prosecutor's Office has charged a man who stabbed a woman at a family event last December. The intoxicated man got into an argument with the woman, then hit her and threatened to kill her on the terrace. The woman's daughter tried to defend her, but the man ultimately stabbed the woman in the chest, causing her to fall and lose consciousness. The man fled the scene, hiding the knife. The victim suffered serious injuries but survived due to prompt medical intervention. The prosecution has requested a prison sentence without the possibility of parole.
