The guest list for October 23 is not shaping up as Péter Magyar would have liked.

Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar announced expected attendees for the October 23rd events commemorating the 70th anniversary of the 1956 revolution, including Emmanuel Macron. However, the French embassy later confirmed Macron's absence. Only a few leaders, such as Đuro Macut from Serbia and Maia Sandu from Moldova, are confirmed to attend. Other notable attendees include Ursula von der Leyen and António Costa from EU institutions. Various European leaders have been invited, but many, including those from Poland and Slovakia, have not confirmed their presence. The Prime Minister mentioned that Vladimir Putin was not invited, and a total of 100 to 150 politicians were invited to the event.
