Former Prime Minister Miklós Németh claims he saw and read Viktor Orbán's agent reports
Former Prime Minister Miklós Németh claims he saw and read reports about Viktor Orbán's activities as an agent. In March 1990, he was approached by Defense Minister Ferenc Kárpáti for an urgent meeting, where he received three handwritten reports detailing Orbán's behavior during his military service. Németh could not verify the authenticity of the documents but recognized Orbán's handwriting. He hopes these documents will eventually be made public. This information is discussed in Szabolcs Panyi's upcoming book, which also explores theories regarding Orbán's pro-Russian political shift. Németh later inquired about the documents' whereabouts, learning they were kept by Géza Stefán, a significant figure in Hungary's intelligence history. Orbán has consistently denied any collaboration with state security services, while his spokesperson labeled claims about the documents as "FAKE NEWS."
