Netanyahu says Arab voters are "trying to steal the election"
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mobilized supporters before the parliamentary elections, claiming that Arabs were being transported to polling stations to "steal the election." He noted that over 2 million Arabs live in Israel, making up about one-fifth of the population. The Arab parties could play a crucial role in the elections, with discussions focusing on Israel's future and resolving secular-orthodox tensions. A civil organization filed a complaint against Netanyahu's Likud party for allegedly violating election laws by reporting voter numbers. Voter turnout reached a record high of 44.9% by 2 PM, surpassing previous elections.
