Waberer's is changing its name, continuing under the name W Solum Holding

Waberer's International is changing its name to W Solum Holding following shareholder approval. This change reflects the company's expanded business portfolio, which now includes significant insurance and real estate activities alongside its logistics operations. The new name, derived from the Latin word "Solum" meaning foundation, also references the company's sun symbol. The decision will be finalized in December, with the new name effective from January 2027 if approved. The company, founded by György Wáberer, has seen ownership changes, with István Tiborcz now the main shareholder. Waberer's operates a fleet of 2800 trucks and is expanding into new markets.
