Waberer’s management announced a name change to W Solum Holding, pending approval at the upcoming general meeting. This change aims to better reflect the expanded business portfolio beyond road transport and logistics, including rail freight and insurance services. The name 'Solum' signifies foundation, linking to the company's heritage with the letter 'W' and the sun symbol. CEO Zsolt Barna emphasized the need for the name to accurately represent the corporate group. Meanwhile, Minister István Kapitány filed a complaint regarding financing from the Hungarian Development Bank, which raised concerns about potential mismanagement of public funds. The company denied any wrongdoing related to bond issuances.
