Waberer’s is changing its name

Waberer’s International Nyrt. has been renamed to W Solum Holding, reflecting its expanded business beyond road transport to include insurance and real estate development. The company announced this change on the Budapest Stock Exchange, citing the need for a name that better represents its current operations. The founder, György Wáberer, sold his shares to István Tiborcz in 2023, who now holds a 50.88% stake. The management previously indicated that the name change was in consideration to honor the company's history, with the 'W' retained. The finalization of the new name was expected by late summer or early autumn.
