New fridge cyberattack hits Belgian and Swedish supermarkets

On November 2, several Belgian grocery stores and an Ikea superstore experienced rising refrigerator temperatures due to a cyberattack. Carrefour Belgium confirmed disruptions in about 15 stores, while Ikea's Mons location was affected. Delhaize reported issues in numerous stores, with signs indicating hacker involvement. Other chains like Colruyt and Intermarché also faced technical problems, though the extent varied. This incident follows a similar attack in France on October 12, impacting over 500 supermarkets and raising food security concerns across Europe.
