"It was not an easy decision". US Ambassador on the choice of Poland

The U.S. Ambassador to Poland, Thomas Rose, commented on the decision to establish a PAC-3 missile servicing center in Poland, highlighting its significance for U.S.-Poland defense cooperation and NATO's collective defense. He praised Polish officials for their efforts, particularly noting the contributions of Deputy Minister Cezary Tomczyk and Deputy Minister Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka. The center, the first of its kind outside the U.S., will enhance servicing capabilities and reduce the time required for missile maintenance. The investment is estimated at around one billion zlotys and aims to strengthen transatlantic ties and Poland's defense industry. The location of the center has yet to be announced, with further discussions planned with U.S. partners.
