Nigeria confirms Ebola case, as Congo outbreak spreads

Nigeria has reported its first confirmed case of a new Ebola strain in a woman who traveled from Uganda. Symptoms began on October 7, shortly after her arrival. She is currently isolated in a hospital in Abuja, receiving treatment. The Nigerian health authorities are collaborating with the WHO and Africa CDC to manage the situation and prevent further transmission.
