Niko Romito's Reale' in Castel di Sangro has been named Italy's top restaurant by Gambero Rosso, scoring 99 points. This is the highest score in the guide's history. Osteria Francescana in Modena ranked second with 98 points, followed by Piazza Duomo in Alba with 97 points. The rankings were revealed during the 2027 guide presentation in Rome.
