Lower electricity and heating bills. A new project is on the table.
Przemysław Czarnek, vice president of PiS, announced a proposal to reduce the VAT rate on solid fuels to 8%, which is expected to lower the prices of coal and briquettes. Additionally, a 5% VAT rate on electricity and heat is planned, which is intended to bring savings for families. Czarnek emphasized that the changes are part of the "cheap heating 1.0" package and aim to support Polish families and micro-entrepreneurs. Currently, the VAT on these products is 23%.
