Karol Nawrocki's Night Visit to the Constitutional Tribunal. "The President Burst in on the Judge with Force"
The visit of the President to the Constitutional Tribunal has sparked conflicting accounts from both sides. Maciej Berek reported that the President forcefully entered the Tribunal, disregarding the judges waiting to greet him. He claimed the President showed no interest in conversation and went upstairs with his aides. In contrast, officials from Karol Nawrocki's team accused Judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska of physically obstructing the President, labeling the judges as 'usurpers' and suggesting they faced severe legal consequences. The situation escalated with the removal of Tribunal President Bogdan Święczkowski and the appointment of Korwin-Piotrowska as acting head. Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek announced he would seek to lift the immunity of several judges, including Święczkowski.
