Night events before the Constitutional Tribunal. President Nawrocki issued a statement
Dramatic events occurred outside the Constitutional Tribunal in Poland, leading to public and political unrest. President Karol Nawrocki announced a constitutional order violation and illegal takeover of the state organ. Law enforcement was deployed to the Tribunal, which the president deemed unlawful. Following consultations with Supreme Court President Zbigniew Kapiński, both agreed that actions by those claiming power in the Tribunal were illegal. The president allowed the legal vice-president of the Tribunal, Bartłomiej Sochański, to enter to ensure continuity. In response to the situation, urgent political consultations were called to stabilize the political climate and restore constitutional order.
