November World Month in Halle will continue without city support: volunteers organize 20 activities

November Wereldmaand in Halle will continue this year despite the city's withdrawal of support, thanks to volunteers and associations. Over 20 activities focused on solidarity and diversity are planned. The initiative, which has been running for 22 years, faced uncertainty after the city decided to stop funding. Volunteer Jart Voortman organized a meeting that attracted 25 associations, allowing for a diverse program. Although resources are limited, a project grant of €1,380 has been secured. Familiar events like the 11.11.11 breakfast and the repair café will return, starting with a symbolic parade on November 7.
