New focus of ticks at Vila Real hospital

The first incident occurred in early October, and after initial disinfestation, the issue seemed resolved. Following the new detection, the unit decided to conduct another disinfestation and temporarily relocate patients to ensure safety. No patients were reported affected by this occurrence, and urgent surgeries continue, although scheduled ones face some delays. The administration emphasized its commitment to healthcare quality and safety, stating it will take necessary actions to resolve the situation.
