New General States of the PS start on November 14

The PS is launching new General States called "Contamos todos" on November 14 in Lisbon, aiming to create a political participation platform for independents to help prepare an alternative government. José Luís Carneiro, leading the PS since June 2025, emphasizes the importance of citizen contributions in shaping the party's political program. The initiative seeks to engage a diverse group of citizens beyond electoral cycles, reinforcing the idea that their voices matter continuously. The inaugural session will feature participatory tables for discussions on practical cases, aiming to develop concrete political measures.
