New maximum prices. Significant increase in Pb98 price

Starting Thursday, new fuel prices will be implemented in Poland, with Pb95 gasoline at 6.53 PLN, Pb98 at 7.37 PLN, and diesel at 8.20 PLN per liter. Pb95 decreased by 2 grosze, while Pb98 increased by 13 grosze, and diesel rose by 10 grosze. The government has reactivated the Fuel Price Lowering program, linking it to the signing of a tax law on extraordinary profits of fuel companies. Maximum prices are enforced nationwide, and stations exceeding these limits may face financial penalties. The government aims to reduce fuel costs for drivers through VAT and excise tax reductions.
