New maximum fuel prices. Announcement published

The Polish government has set maximum fuel prices to mitigate rising costs for drivers. The new prices are 6.45 PLN for Pb95, 7.31 PLN for Pb98, and 8.14 PLN for diesel. A new announcement regarding these prices will be made on November 4. This initiative is part of the third phase of the Lower Fuel Prices package, aimed at reducing fuel costs through temporary tax reductions funded by a new levy on oil companies with excessive profits. The law includes penalties for non-compliance and is expected to remain in effect until the end of 2026, costing around 5 billion PLN.
