New connections from Poland to Egypt

Wizz Air has launched ten new routes connecting Polish cities to Egyptian resorts, including Hurghada, Marsa Alam, and Sharm el-Sheikh. Flights from Modlin and Katowice to all three Red Sea cities have commenced, with additional routes from Gdańsk, Kraków, and Wrocław. Poland remains a key market for Wizz Air, which plans to offer over 20 million seats on routes to and from the country in 2026. Other airlines, including LOT Polish Airlines, also provide connections to Egypt. In 2025, Ryanair was the leading airline in Poland, followed by Wizz Air and LOT. Polish airports served a total of 66.1 million passengers in 2025, marking an 11.7% increase from the previous year.
