Poznań Airport announced a new flight connection to Faro, Portugal, starting March 30, 2027. Flights will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, marking Ryanair's third route to mainland Portugal from Poznań, alongside Lisbon and Porto. The new service responds to traveler demand, as highlighted by Agnieszka Szymankiewicz, the airport's vice president. This announcement coincides with record passenger numbers at Poznań Airport, which served nearly 4.15 million travelers in 2025, a 15% increase from the previous year. Portugal's growing popularity among Polish tourists is expected to be boosted by this new route, providing easier access to the Algarve region's beaches and culture.
