New regulations for companies. Business registration exclusively online

Starting today, individuals planning to establish their own businesses must adhere to new regulations requiring online registration through the CEIDG. This change is part of a broader initiative to digitize services for entrepreneurs. The Ministry of Development and Technology announced that from November 1, 2023, applications for business registration can only be submitted online, with exceptions for minors. New businesses can be registered via Biznes.gov.pl, the mObywatel app, and selected banks. By April 2026, the mObywatel app will also allow for business suspension and resumption. A second phase of digitization is planned for 2028, which will include all CEIDG applications and introduce a 'one-stop-shop' principle for civil partnerships.
