Port Polska has transitioned from planning to construction, with trial piling completed for the terminal and a new railway line being built. The Central Communication Port emphasizes that construction is underway, with significant progress reported. Preparatory work for the passenger terminal's deep foundation has been completed, and the company awaits a construction permit expected in December 2026. The project aims to establish a central airport between Warsaw and Łódź, along with a high-speed rail network, set to be operational by 2032. Piotr Borys has been appointed as the new CEO, focusing on completing the airport on schedule.
