New statement from Judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska. It concerns the work of the Constitutional Tribunal

On Saturday evening, the Constitutional Tribunal's president, Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, announced new access rules for the Tribunal's premises. She specified that judges Bogdan Święczkowski and Bartłomiej Sochański are currently barred from entering the building due to ongoing proceedings against them. Other judges are advised to work remotely unless they arrange access with her for safety reasons. Additionally, staff duties have been suspended, limiting access to the Tribunal except for those specifically requested by Korwin-Piotrowska. She emphasized that any exceptions must be agreed upon with her. The announcement follows a crisis within the Tribunal, including requests to lift the immunity of Święczkowski and Sochański, and a meeting scheduled for November 3 to discuss the Tribunal's budget for 2027.
