A 22-year-old man lost control of his car while drifting in Nowy Sącz, hitting a pedestrian and causing minor injuries. The incident occurred during peak traffic near a bus stop, where 14 people were present, including children. The driver faces charges of creating a direct danger of a traffic disaster and could face up to 8 years in prison. Although investigators sought temporary detention, the court denied the request. He is prohibited from leaving the country and driving vehicles, with a bail set at 250,000 PLN.
