NPO cancels Dutch participation in Eurovision Song Contest after all

The Netherlands will not send a participant to the Eurovision Song Contest next year, as announced by NPO after discussions with broadcasters. They cited "insufficient support" for participation. However, the festival will still be broadcast by NOS, featuring Dutch commentary and previews.
