Remigration Objective: the conference and demonstration planned by the far-right collective in Île-de-France this weekend are prohibited by prefectural orders

On October 29, the police prefect of Paris and the prefect of Hauts-de-Seine issued bans on a far-right conference and a related demonstration due to public order risks following a recent attack. Various organizations called for counter-demonstrations against the far-right group, Objectif Remigration, which promotes mass expulsion of foreigners. The mayor of Paris requested an assessment of the risks associated with these events, emphasizing that racist hatred has no place in public spaces. The far-left party and the socialist mayor condemned the events, labeling them as neo-fascist, and called for a gathering to protest a book signing by far-right activist Martin Sellner.
