Massive raid by the Czech police: They uncovered a gang of car thieves. In three countries at once
Czech police, in collaboration with European counterparts, dismantled an international car theft gang responsible for stealing luxury vehicles across Europe, causing damages of nearly 40 million crowns. The operation, named "Belgian," took place on October 6, 2026, targeting the organized crime group. Stolen cars from Germany were transported through the Czech Republic to Poland, where they were dismantled for parts. Arrests occurred simultaneously in the Czech Republic, Poland, and Italy, with police seizing financial assets, specialized theft equipment, and forged documents. The gang is linked to at least 43 car thefts in southern Germany, with damages estimated at 1.5 million euros.
