Immigrant Women Observatory starts activities this week with assembly in Lisbon
The first activity of the Migrant Women Observatory will take place on November 5 at the Casa do Brasil in Lisbon, featuring an assembly for immigrant women. Ana Paula Costa, the observatory's coordinator, emphasizes the importance of listening to women before launching the project. The initiative aims to empower women and address their specific needs, reflecting the growing immigrant community in Portugal. The event is free but requires prior registration. The observatory will conduct surveys, produce reports, and monitor news related to violence against immigrant women, among other activities.
