Since Sunday, we have the "correct" time in Poland. Although it is almost nowhere in line with the solar time.
Winter time is considered the 'natural' time zone for Poland, aligning with Central European Time. This time corresponds to solar noon, which varies based on geographical location. Poland's geographical span results in a time difference of about 40 minutes between its eastern and western edges. While winter time aligns with the average solar time at 15° E longitude, summer time is more suitable for eastern regions like Białystok and Suwałki, where solar noon is closer to clock noon. Poland will switch to summer time again on March 28, 2027.
