OE2027. Miranda Sarmento heard at the start of the general discussion

The Minister of State and Finance, Joaquim Miranda Sarmento, is being heard in Parliament today as part of the general discussion on the 2027 State Budget proposal. This marks the beginning of the evaluation process by the Budget, Finance and Public Administration Committee. The proposal, submitted by the government on October 8, anticipates a 2.3% economic growth this year and 2.1% in 2027, with balanced accounts for this year and a surplus of 0.1% in 2027. Following this hearing, Minister of Labor, Solidarity and Social Security, Rosário Palma Ramalho, will be heard on October 26.
