Ukrainian warning app hacked, false alarms about nuclear threat

Ukrainians use the Air Alert app to receive warnings about Russian missile and drone attacks, including movements on a map. Since Russia's invasion in February 2022, such attacks have become routine. Recently, users in Kyiv received alerts about nuclear and chemical threats, as well as street fighting. The Ukrainian Air Force claims the app was hacked, assuring users there is no radiation danger. The source of the hack remains unknown, but other warning systems like Kyiv Digital are reportedly secure, prompting authorities to advise residents to rely on them.
