The EU Commission has approved Temu's action plan to address violations of the Digital Services Act regarding risk assessment obligations, particularly concerning illegal products on its marketplace. The Chinese company has four months to implement measures, including moderation system checks, recommendation algorithms, and ad manipulation controls. An external and independent verification will be conducted, with Brussels overseeing the implementation after imposing a €200 million fine on Temu in May 2026.
