A Romanian electrical tester, Sandu, suffered severe injuries from an electrical arc while working at a Google data center in Belgium. Despite assurances from supervisors about safety, he was asked to perform a dangerous test after a long workday. The incident left him with burns and ongoing health issues, including anxiety and pain. Witnesses reported that managers left the scene as he cried out for help. Sandu was hospitalized and placed in a coma for five days, undergoing multiple skin grafts for his injuries.
