Online GP Finder shows in the Ghent area who is still accepting patients: "As easy as entering a postcode"

A new online tool called Huisartszoeker has been launched in the Ghent area to help residents find a general practitioner who is accepting new patients. This initiative addresses the difficulties some residents face in securing a family doctor, especially amid growing populations and changing neighborhoods. Users can easily input their postcode to see which practices are available, indicated by a color code. The tool is regularly updated and aims to reduce the pressure on medical practices by minimizing phone inquiries. While primarily digital, support is available for those without internet access through local organizations and city services.
