Cooling systems in the Netherlands also attacked, temperature adjusted at 17 companies

In the Netherlands, at least seventeen companies experienced attacks on their cooling systems, resulting in temperature adjustments. This incident follows similar attacks in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Sweden. Affected systems include those used in butcheries and small shops, with one storage facility's temperature rising from -20 to -10 degrees. Danfoss, the supplier, had previously advised customers to disconnect systems from the internet to prevent such attacks. Many complied, but some did not, leading to vulnerabilities. In Belgium, dozens of locations, including Carrefour and Delhaize supermarkets, were also targeted. No major supermarkets in the Netherlands were affected, and Albert Heijn confirmed their systems were secure. There is no evidence linking these attacks to a previous hacking attempt on Albert Heijn's digital systems.
