Ceiling tiles fall again at the Rijksadministratief Centrum in Hasselt: "Staff works from home"

Ceiling tiles have fallen again on the fourth floor of the Rijksadministratief Centrum in Hasselt, likely due to heavy rain. The floor is closed, and 40 to 50 staff members are currently working from home. This incident marks the third occurrence of such issues in a short time, raising concerns about the building's safety. The ACV union is questioning the wisdom of relocating staff to a building with ongoing problems. They are calling for a structural investigation into the building's defects before any further moves are made. The management has yet to decide if the recent incidents will affect the planned relocation of staff from other locations to Hasselt.
