Polish opposition announces motion of no confidence against Donald Tusk's government

The Polish opposition leader Mateusz Morawiecki announced plans to submit a motion of no confidence against Donald Tusk's government amid a dispute over the Constitutional Tribunal. Morawiecki proposed a technical government led by Marek Jurek to stabilize the situation until elections. He emphasized the need for a 'restart' of the Tribunal, excluding those currently attacking it. The motion requires support from at least 46 deputies and a majority in parliament. Tusk's government has been pushing for new Tribunal members, but the President has only approved two. The political crisis escalated with a recent suspension of Tribunal leaders and police intervention. President Karol Nawrocki called for urgent consultations to address the crisis.
