Striking oak table brought into Kringwinkel Ieper, gets a place of honor in Lakenhallen

A remarkable oak table, previously donated to the Kringwinkel in Ieper, will be displayed at the Lakenhallen. This ornate table belonged to a former mayor, Albert Dehem, and features the Ieper coat of arms. After restoration, it is now ready for public viewing during the mayor's office hours. The current mayor, Katrien Desomer, expressed her admiration for the table, which has intricate details and is quite heavy. It will serve as a centerpiece for official receptions, allowing locals to appreciate its craftsmanship.
