Successor to the Golden Radio Ring: Crystals awarded at the Dutch Radio Awards

New Dutch Radio Awards have been established to honor radio professionals after the end of the Golden Radio Ring. DPG Media, Talpa Audio, and Mediahuis Radio collaborated to create these awards, emphasizing the importance of recognizing radio's contributions. The awards ceremony will be held on February 2, 2027, at the DeLaMar Theater in Amsterdam, with categories for both jury and listener-selected winners. The initiative follows budget cuts that led to the discontinuation of the Golden Radio Ring after twenty years, which was last awarded to AVROTROS's Bart Arens.
