Daylight Saving Time: We can sleep an hour longer on Sunday

Daylight saving time ends, requiring clocks to be set back one hour from 3 AM to 2 AM, resulting in a longer Sunday. Train schedules will change, especially for those traveling between midnight and 4 AM. Domestic trains departing between 2 AM and 3 AM will follow the new time, while some international trains will wait for the new schedule. Bus schedules vary, with certain night buses in Budapest operating on summer time, while others in Szeged will maintain their schedules. The European Commission proposed abolishing the biannual clock change in 2018, but no final agreement has been reached, with the next clock change scheduled for March 28, 2027.
